To all Early Career GPs and GP Trainees - Applications now open for Next Generation GP - Cumbria

We are writing to invite you to apply for a fully funded place on the new Next Generation GP programme in Cumbria, starting October 2023. Our aim is to inspire a generation of GP trainees and newly qualified GPs to be inspired leaders, with the insight and connections they need to change and improve the system in which we work.

Supported by the North and South Cumbria Training Hubs, the core of the programme consists of 5 evening events. These will be a blend of online live-streamed sessions as well as North Cumbria specific face-to-face session – ensuring attendees can meet local leaders & network amongst like-minded individuals.

Each face-to-face meeting will include hot food prior to each session, as well as the opportunity for networking & catch up with peers and local leaders through tea/coffee breaks. They’ll run from 7.30-9.30pm each evening, with dinner served from 7pm.

This year, our line up comes from a varied background, individually assuming integral roles across our healthcare system. We’re excited to hear about their journey and sharing “pearls of wisdom” they’ve learnt along the way.

Applications are via the following link. Deadline for submission is Monday 2nd October.
